Flint

General terms

How Flint is offered.

22 October 2026

These terms cover the Flint desktop app and this website. Using either one means you accept them. They are a plain statement of the offer, not a promise that the software will do a particular job.

What you get

Flint is a window for models and agents on your own machine. You bring the model. You choose the folder. Version 0.1.3 is an early release. Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu installers are published on GitHub releases when a version tag builds. The site links a button only after that file exists. Source is at kolan51/flint.

Your folder

Agents can read and change the folder you open. A command runs on your machine after you allow it, or after you choose to allow commands in that folder. You are responsible for that folder, for the commands you allow, and for reviewing a change before you keep it.

Your model

Flint sends the job to the address you saved. You are responsible for your right to use that model, and for whatever that server does with the prompt. Flint does not provide the model.

This website

The page describes the app and points at a download when one exists. A button marked as not built does not start a download. The privacy policy explains what the page and the app send off the machine.

No warranty

The app and this page are offered as they are. They can fail, drop a chat, or change a file in the folder you opened. You use them at your own risk. Nothing here promises that a job will finish, that a model will answer, or that the software is fit for a particular purpose.

Acceptable use

Do not use Flint to break the law, to reach a system you are not allowed to touch, or to send someone else’s private files to a model they did not agree to.

Changes

If these terms change, the new text is posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the app or the site after that date means you accept the new text.
